David BeckhamThe Milan midfielder, David Beckham, has expressed his dissapointment for the injury that will almost certainly force him out of the World Cup in South Africa.

On his official site David Beckham thanked all his supporters: “I am going to Finland to see a specialist and to make all the check ups for the injury. I am angry but I would like to thank everyone for all the supportive messages. I hope to have a rapid and complete recovery.”

David Beckham joined Milan last January from Los Angeles Galaxy to boost his chances for a World Cup spot in South Africa. It seemed as if his determination was going to be rewarded as Fabio Capello had decided to call David Beckham. This injury will definitely let him down but we’re sure that David will be back and stronger than before. David Beckham has played in three World Cups, in 1998, 2002 and 2006.
