John Terry Injury - 2010England’s preparations for World Cup 2010 have been dealt a massive boost following a positive John Terry injury update by the Chelsea medical team. Terry was injured during a training session during a collision with a team mate. Although he left on crutches to the hospital for a complete checkup, it’s seems that it is nothing serious.

Terry admits that the scare of having an injury just before the World Cup in South Africa is what worried him most.  During training he was running back to defend his goal and Sturridge fell on the defender’s right foot. A complete scan has been carried out at the hospital and the Terry is more than pleased that his injury was not serious at all, his leg was just bruised.

The good news was both welcomed by Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti and England manager Fabio Capello. John Terry will be in fact playing against Portsmouth in the FA Cup final this Saturday, 15th May. As regarding England national team, there was some concern about Terry’s central defending partner Rio Ferdinand, although he has just reconfirmed that he will be fully fit for World Cup 2010 too.
