Jerome BoatengAfter a lot of rumours it’s finally official, Manchester City sign Jerome Baoteng. Manchester City sign Jerome Boateng from German side, Hamburg, for an undisclosed fee. Boateng signed the deal just before catching the plane to South Africa. Roberto Mancini is happy about this move “He is a young lad that already has a lot of quality, I think that at City he will improve further, he can play in various defensive positions and this is something very important.”

Boateng is the third player in a few years to move from Hamburg to Manchester City after Vincent Kompany and Nigel de Jong. Jerome Boateng may soon be playing against his step brother, Kevin Prince Boateng, atthe World Cup as his step brother chose to represent Ghana.
