Mario Balotelli Leaving InterAccording to Italian newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport, Balotelli has handed in a transfer request so that he can leave Inter Milan as soon as possible. During Inter’s trashing of Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, he was introduced in the dying stages and had a very bad reception by home fans.

Balotelli looked really upset and to make matters worst was losing or giving away the ball too easily every time he was involved in the game. When the game finished he was so angry that he threw away his shirt and made an impolite gesture to fans at the final whistle. Although Inter’s president wants to keep the player, it seems Balotelli wants to leave and will be difficult to change his mind.

On an interview with Sky Italia, he stated that he believes in himself and wants to prove the footballing world that he can be one of the best players in the world. This has always been his dream since childhood and that he’s looking forward to prove Inter fans wrong.

There’s already speculation about which team might be interested in Balotelli. It seems even Manchester United, the world’s most valuable club of 2010, is following this player closely. Other teams in contention seem to be Liverpool and Barcelona.
