Cristiano Ronaldo BarcelonaCristiano Ronaldo in a recent interview to a Spanish TV station ‘Punto Pelota’ did not exclude a future move to Barcelona. He said the following “Barcelona? Not a present. Madrid is my home and Real Madrid is my team but in life never say never. I don’t like to make use of the word never, today Real Madrid is my home but I don’t know what will happen in the future.”

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, will definitely not be happy with Ronaldo’s comments after paying 94 million euros to sign him from Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo’s first season at Real Madrid was a troubled due to injuries but whenever he played he made the difference. His goal ratio says it all, 26 goals in only 28 matches.

As a United fan, it makes me sad seeing Ronaldo play for another team, especially that circus Madrid. However, if there is one team I wouldn’t mind seeing him play for, it would be Barca. As a football fan, seeing him and Messi either side of Villa with Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas supplying them the ball would be mouth-watering.

Having said that, I still hope he comes back home to Manchester to re-unite with Rooney, the best double act in the world!
