Charlie Adam set to stay at Blackpool thumbnail

After all it seems that Blackpool midfielder, Charlie Adam, is set to stay at Blackpool. In recent weeks there have been many rumours about Charlie Adam leaving Blackpool for another Premiership side. Aston Villa stepped up their interest for the Scottish midfielder by placing a bid that was immediately refused by the Blackpool board. The offer has been deemed to be too low. Blackpool coach, Ian Holloway, also stated that he would let Adam leave only for a top side and that he doesn’t consider Aston Villa to be such a side. He also stated that should Liverpool make a serious offer for Adam he would take it into consideration as he considers Liverpool to be a big club.
It has been rumoured that Liverpool are very interested in Adam but they have made no formal bid as yet. It still has to be seen if new Liverpool coach, Kenny Daglish, is also interested in Adam as his predecessor Roy Hodgson.
