Researchers from the University of California, San Diego, have carried out an important study revealing about dogs' emotional lives. Dogs can exhibit an emotion known as jealousy, which is mainly attributed to humans.

In an experiment, researchers noted that dogs showed jealous behaviour traits when their owners diverted their attention towards a stuffed battery-charged dog that could bark jump and wag its tail. While exhibiting jealousy, dogs either snapped at or pushed away the stuffed dog. They tried all the possible ways to attract attention of their owners.

The research conducted by researchers at the University of California suggested that hypertension could protect people over 90 years of age from dementia by saving the lives of their brain cells.
