Benitez at Juventus next season?Juventus can’t wait. The project of a new winning team has to start with or without Rafa Benitez. According to what has been reported by English newspaper ‘Sun’ Juventus are tired of the uncertainty surrounding Rafa Benitez, for this reason that have set him a deadline. His reply must arrive soon, in the next few days. If they receive no definite reply from Rafa Benitez they will start considering other options. The next coaches in line for the role would be Cesare Prandelli and Luciano Spalletti. According to the ‘Sun’, Juventus have offered Rafa Benitez 22 million euros over a three year period plus an additional bonus of 5.5 million euros should he accept to let go the compensation Liverpool owe him.

Rafa Benitez started his coaching career at only 26 years of age. He started off by coaching Castilla Youth B before moving to Real Madrid. At Madrid he first coached the Real Madrid Youth B team, then Real Madrid U-19s and finally Real Madrid B. After those experiences he managed his first senior team which was Real Valladolid. After 1 season he moved on to Osasuna, Extremadura and Tenerife. In 2001 his big opportunity arrived when he moved to Valencia. He spent 3 seasons at Valencia winning 2 leagues and an Uefa Cup. In 2004 he moved to Liverpool and stayed there since then. At Liverpool he has won an Uefa Champions League.
