Aleksandar KolarovAnother summer and another revolution at Real Madrid. It seems that next summer Real Madrid will be active in the transfer market like last summer. Many important names are being linked to Real Madrid with the most rumoured being Liverpool’s captain Steven Gerrard (30) and Lazio’s left back Aleksandar Kolarov (24). According to “Corriere dello Sport” the Serbian is wanted by Inter too. Inter had already tried to buy Kolarov last January but Lazio didn’t want to sell him at that point. This means that now Inter will have to battle it out for Kolarov against the merengues. Real Madrid are ready to offer Lazio around 18 million euros for Kolarov.

A lot will depend on what will happen to Lazio in the next few months. At present Lazio are fighting against relegation, should they end up relegated Kolarov’s price tag will definitely be less. Kolarov is a young serbian left back that formed part of a succesful U21 Serbian team, at present he plays for the Serbian international team. He started his career at FK Čukarički Stankom, in 2006 he joined OFK Beograd. In June 2007 he made a big step by moving to Italy to sign for Lazio. Since joining Lazio he has become the first choice left back and affirmed himself as one of the best left backs worldwide.
