Giuseppe SculliRoma are still in full race for the Serie A title, even though they will have to support Lazio in the next round of the league, but behind the scenes they already started working on building the squad for next season.

It seems that Rodrigo Taddei is soon going to be offered a new contract but Roma are still keeping an eye on other options, with Giuseppe Sculli (29) being the most wanted on their list. The Italian winger is currently a Genoa player, he had scored his first goal in Serie A against Roma. It is being said that Sculli may be allowed to move to the capital city for a fee of around five million euros.

Giuseppe Sculli is a product of the great Juventus nursery. He signed his first professional contract with Juventus at the age of 17 but never played a senior match for Juventus. Juventus loaned him out for three years with the first two years at Crotone and another season at Modena. In 2003 he was bought in a co-ownership deal by Chievo, but after a first season Chievo loaned him out to Brescia. In 2005 he was bought back by Juventus but he was loaned out to Messina and then Genoa. His performances at Genoa were impressive and therefore Genoa decided to buy him in 2007. Sculli played for Italy at various levels starting from U15 level to U21 level. He still has to earn a call to the Italian senior squad.
