Emmanuel Adebayor set to join Juventus thumbnail

Manchester City striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, is set to join Italian giants Juventus. Juventus are on the market for a quality striker with their main target being Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko, but the German team doesn’t want to let him go. Adebayor would be a great alternative as he is a quality striker and also a cheaper option than Dzeko. It appears that Juventus would sign Adebayor on a one year loan for 2 million euros with the option to sign him next summer for a fee of 17 million euros. The only stumbling block may be Adebayor’s wage as he currently earns 5.5 million euros a year but the Togolese international might be ready to earn less money to get more playing time.

Adebayor joined Manchester City only last summer but it appears that next year his first team opportunities will be very limited due to the signing of David Silva and the imminent signing of Mario Balotelli.
