The first match of this weeks’ Serie A schedule finishes in a 4-0 victory for Sicilian side Catania against Bari. Bari’s bad day started off after only four minutes when Catania player Ricchiuti put his name on the scoresheet with a great shot. Bari try to react but it was Catania’s night and in the 40th minute they managed to double their lead with a splendid goal of Llama. After the break Barreto had a great chance to re-open the match as he only managed to hit the post from a penalty kick. Ten minutes from time Japanese International Morimoto sealed the match as he scored the third goal for Catania. In the dying minutes Catania put salt on Bari’s wound as they scored a fourth goal through Uruguayan International Martinez.
