Yossi BenayounAccording to the latest rumours being spread in Russia it seems that Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun (29), is on the edge of a move to a Russian team for an offer of around 10 million euros. Both Dinamo Moscow and CSKA Moscow are trying to secure his signature. Yossi Benayoun tackled the argument by talking to the British media. He said “I am flattered with the interest of these clubs but for now only Liverpool exist for me. I am feel very good here, I am enjoying my career the most I can. In the next weeks I will talk to the directors about my future…”

Yossi Benayoun is an Israelite midfielder that started his career in local club Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Yossi was considered as a very promising player since very young, at only 15 years of age he moved to Ajax for 8 months, after which they offered him a 4 year professional contract. He rejected Ajax’s offer as he didn’t manage to settle in Amsterdam. In those 8 months he spent at Ajax he managed to be the top scorer of their youth team. After Ajax he returned to Hapoel Be’er Sheva where he started putting his talents on display with the senior team. After only 2 years he moved to Maccabi Haifa where he spent four succesful years both locally and in the European cups. In 2002 many European clubs were interested in his services but Spanish team , Racing de Santander, obtained his services. After three succesful years at Santander he moved to England to sign for West Ham United were he became a fan favourite. After only two years at West Ham he reached the peak of his career by joining Liverpool. Yossi Benayoun debuted for the senior Israel National team in 1998 and since then played 78 games and scored 20 goals. He is considered as one of the best Israel players ever.
