“I am happy to be linked to a big club that has won everything like Milan, but I hope to stay here for a long time.” Alessandro Diamanti (26) is very clear in his comments, he has great admiration towards Milan but he prefers to stay in the Premier League and to play at West Ham. He says it in an interview for some British newspapers. Diamanti, ex attacking midfielder of Livorno, still has four years left on his current contract with West Ham and he wants to respect the contract. “I have a five year contract and I cam to West Ham because West Ham is the right club for me.”

Alessandro Diamanti started his career at Prato, following that he had a two year stint at Albinoleffe only to then rejoin Prato in Serie C1. In June 2007 he was signed by Serie A team Livorno. After two great seasons with Livorno in which he was also being considered for the Italian national team he joined West Ham. Since joining West Ham he became a very important first team player and a fan favourite.
