Simone PepeIn the last few days a lot of rumours were surrounding Udinese striker Simone Pepe. Simone Pepe has been linked to a move to Sunderland for the important fee of 15 million euros. The rumour was reported by the British newspaper ‘Daily Mail’. Sunderland manager, Steve Bruce, decided to talk about the matter to clear the situation: “I don’t know from where certain news are coming from – but what is being reported is far from reality. A 15 million offer for an Italian striker is not even imaginable for us.”

Simone Pepe is an Italian International, he started his professional career with Roma. Since then he changed many clubs before joining Udinese in 2006. Since joining Udinese his performances constantly improved which led for his call up to the Italian National team in 2008. Since then he has played 13 games for Italy.
