Sebastien FreyGoalkeepers are back on demand in England as the summer transfer is closing in. Manchester United and Arsenal are both looking for a top goalkeeper. Manchester United need a top goalkeeper to take over from Edwin Van Der Sar as at 40 years of age he is not a youngster anymore. United’s current second option is Ben Foster, he was tipped to replace Van Der Sar but after a series of blunders he lost Alex Ferguson’s confidence in him. On the other hand Arsenal are looking for a goalkeeper to replace error prone Manuel Almunia.

For both teams their first option is Fiorentina’s goalkeeper Sebastien Frey. Sebastien Frey has been playing his trade in Italy since 1998, when he had joined Inter from French club Cannes. Since then he played on loan at Verona, joined Parma in 2001 and in 2005 moved on to Fiorentina. He also played twice for the French National team.
