Nani hoping Man Utd can still win EPL title 2010Nani still believes that Man United can win the EPL title next weekend. Utd are just 1 point behind current leaders Chelsea and will need Chelsea to lose points against Wigan, to have the opportunity to be crowned champions for the 4th successive year, a feat which has never been accomplished by any English club before.

Manchester’s midfielder Nani has been in excellent form lately and he was decisive again in the last match against Sunderland. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side know that only a win against Stoke on the last weekend can earn them the title. Speaking in the name of his teammates too, Nani is confident that Utd still have a chance and will be fighting till end.

Wigan’s away record has not been that impressive this year. They have managed to win only 2 games, ended 3 in a draw and lost 13 games. However they did manage to beat Chelsea by 3 goals to 1 on home soil earlier this season. The last three games for Wigan have been a win against Arsenal, a loss against West Ham and a draw against Hull City. Whilst we reckon a shock result against Chelsea is not impossible, it’s highly unlikely considering Chelsea know that a win in the last game will guarantee they are crowned as English Champions for 2009/2010.
