“I want to return to Brazil. I still have a couple of years of professional football left ahead of me but I want to stay next to my children.” Deco said those words through British tabloid ‘The Sun’. “I still have one year left on my contract, it’s all in Chelsea’s hands”. He continued “I haven’t chosen another club yet, what I do know that it’s time to return home”.

Deco, a Portuguese international, had a brilliant career with big clubc such as Porto and Barcelona. He won the Champions League twice, once with Porto and once with Barcelona. His career suffered a dip since joining Chelsea in summer 2008, as it seems that he never really managed to settle down. Now it is being rumored that Deco is eyeing a move to Flamengo to help them win the Copa Libertadores which is teh South American equivalent of the European Champions League.
