Maine working to improve internet services

The authorities in the state of Maine are working to improve the state's internet connectivity and are starting another round of investment.

The new round of investment will be partly funded by ConnectME Authority and the state is planning to grant $1 million to groups and Internet service providers that extend their services to unserved areas in the state. The expansion of the network is required as 35,000 households remain without broadband access, according to the authority's estimates.
